Diabetes Voice is an online community comprised of diabetes patients and caregivers willing to share their opinions about a variety of topics. This online community seeks to understand today's diabetes patients and provide a place for members of the community to interact, share ideas, and give opinions on today's leading treatments, products, services and lifestyle issues. We are excited to hear what you have to say!
Diabetes Voice is powered by Toluna and Treato.
Treato helps patients and caregivers make more informed healthcare decisions by analyzing online conversations about medications and health conditions and sharing what others like you are experiencing and sharing online. While the information we gather isn't from trained medical professionals, we aim to empower patients to better understand what's ailing them, get insights to make decisions and connect with others like them. Check out Treato.com.
You will have the chance to voice your opinion on an important issue that affects you. You can see what others, like you, have to say. You will be rewarded for your participation. You will earn points which can be redeemed for Amazon.com gift cards.

Toluna takes the security of your personal data very seriously and abides by the UK Market Research Society Code of Conduct and the UK Data Protection Act 1998.
We collect some personal data about each member for a number of reasons:
- It enables us to contact you about research (i.e. surveys, discussion forums and/ or poll questions) you can take part in and to also let you know if you've won a prize for your participation.
- It enables us to contact you with surveys that are specifically relevant to you and your lifestyle.
- It helps us to analyze the survey data by different categories such as gender, age or the region consumers live in.
Don't worry – it will not be possible for any individual respondent to be identified from the results. Your information will only be used for research purposes.
For each study, you will receive an invitation by email to participate. The community research will be conducted on the Web. All you need to do is click on the link, or copy and paste the Website address into your browser window. Then, simply follow the instructions on the screen to complete the survey. The survey link will also appear on the community website under the "My Surveys" page.
Not necessarily. We will do our best to identify studies that look like a match based on your profile, but our sponsoring clients may include criteria which is not part of our membership information. In these cases, the only way to know if you qualify will be to ask you up front in the survey. In cases when your household does not fit the criteria, we will try and notify you quickly and release you from completing any more of that survey.
On average, you will be sent a survey invitation about once or twice per month. There will also be new Quick Polls posted to the site every week or two, as well as occasional new discussion forums for you to participate in.
You are welcome to take part in as many surveys, quick polls and discussion forums as you like.
On average, our surveys are approximately 10-15 minutes; however, some can be as short as 5 minutes and others can be longer than 15 minutes. All surveys and activities are completely voluntary and we let you know the approximate length of the survey in the invitation so you can plan accordingly. As well, surveys can be stopped and restarted later from where you left off if you are in a hurry.
When you first log in to the community, you will see your new activities with links to each activity page. You can also go directly to the "My Surveys" or "My Discussions" pages. You can take our surveys and log into the community on your computer, tablet and mobile device.
You can find polls on the home page once you log in. You do need to be logged in to vote. Once you have logged in, simply choose a response and click the "Vote" button. Once you have completed the poll, you will be able to see the live results of other community members that have voted.
Go to the "Discussion Forum" page and select a category. Once you're on the category page, click on a discussion you'd like to join. Click either "Reply", "Reply with quote" or "Quick Reply" to add a comment, and click "Publish" when you're ready to post and make your comments public to other members participating in the discussion.
Click the "Attach Files" button at the bottom of a new message, browse and select the image from your computer that you would like to add.
